1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to eligible services supplied by Crediamo (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2016/313117/07.
Crediamo is incorporated and domiciled in South Africa and provides technology and digital services to customers in South Africa, Zimbabwe and other markets.
We aim to deal with cancellation and refund requests fairly and in accordance with applicable contractual and consumer-protection requirements.
2. Website Development Projects
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, website development projects require a 50% deposit before work commences, with the remaining 50% payable before final launch, transfer or handover.
If a client requests cancellation before work has commenced, Crediamo will assess whether any costs have already been incurred in relation to the project.
Where a client cancels a project after work has commenced, Crediamo may retain or charge an amount reasonably attributable to:
- Work already performed
- Time already committed to the project
- Third-party services already purchased
- Non-recoverable expenses incurred in connection with the project
Where a refundable balance remains after these amounts have been taken into account, that balance may be refunded to the client.
3. Web Hosting
Hosting services may be cancelled by providing 30 days’ notice.

Any refund relating to prepaid hosting will be assessed having regard to:
- The period of service already provided
- The applicable hosting agreement
- Non-recoverable third-party costs
- Any promotional or discounted pricing applicable to the service
- Applicable consumer-protection requirements
Customers are responsible for downloading, backing up or transferring any website files, databases, emails and other required data before termination of the hosting service.
4. Domain Registrations and Third-Party Services
Domain registrations and renewals, SSL certificates, software licences, premium plugins, themes and other third-party services may become non-refundable once purchased, registered, issued or activated.
This is because Crediamo may incur an immediate and non-recoverable charge from the relevant third-party provider.
Where the third-party provider permits cancellation or refund, Crediamo will consider the customer’s request in accordance with the provider’s terms and applicable law.
5. Other Professional and Digital Services
Refund and cancellation arrangements for cybersecurity, IT support, digital marketing, automation, artificial intelligence, consulting and other professional services will depend on the nature and stage of the engagement.
Where a specific quotation, proposal or service agreement contains cancellation provisions, those provisions will apply together with any rights available under applicable law.
6. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe that you have:
- Been charged more than once;
- Paid an incorrect amount; or
- Made a payment in error,
please contact info@crediamo.tech promptly and provide the relevant transaction details.
Crediamo will investigate the transaction and process any refund determined to be due.
7. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be processed using an appropriate payment method.
Where reasonably practicable, refunds may be returned through the same or corresponding payment channel used for the original transaction.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment service provider, financial institution or payment method involved.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive, restrict or exclude consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable legislation.
